Seahawks History

Cricket Southern Bayside (CSB) made its debut in the National Indoor Cricket League on the 20th April 2018

In April 2019 CSB merged it NICL program with the Springvale Seahawks and rebranded the team to a club and the Southern Bayside Seahawks.

April 2019 also saw the Seahawks launch its inaugural NICL Women's team along with a 16 team junior indoor program which operated from the Oakleigh Indoor Centre with u12 and u14 grades.

In 2019 the Southern Bayside Seahawks fielded the following teams

The first CSB, Men's NICL team was:

Ian Leach (Capt & Coach), Simon Varavaruc, William Kelly, Aiden Bond, Arvind Suresh, Stuart Easton, Ashkay Tickoo, Aravinda Tammana

The first CSB Women's team was:

Simon Varvaruc (coach), Alex Cornelius, Jade Johnson, Abbey Samild, Mannat Chadha, Jordan Cooper, Victoria Podesta, Molly Belfrage and Vanchica Pathania
